      Hulls Cove is an historic neighborhood in fabled Bar Harbor, Maine.

    4. Bar Harbor is the largest community on Mount Desert Island, the second largest island on the East Coast.

      The most prominent feature of Mount Desert Island is Acadia National Park, which occupies 3/4 of the island.

    6. Acadia National Park comprises 30,000 acres of lakes, ponds, fresh and saltwater beaches, mountainous woodlands, hundreds of miles of walking and hiking trails, bicycle and jogging paths, the highest promontory on the East Coast, and peerlessly beautiful ocean cliffs.

      Acadia is the country’s second most-visited national park notwithstanding its distance from population centers. It is also one of the most richly photographed places in the world.
