The Dyer Family
For over four decades, the Dyer family has proudly stewarded the Oceansedge property spanning three generations. Situated in the historic and esteemed Hulls Cove neighborhood, Oceansedge holds a special place as one of the earliest vacation rentals in the area, setting a precedent for excellence. Edythe
Host, Third-Generational Owner, Director of Marketing
Edythe, Jack's daughter, is a third-generation owner and Director of Marketing with over 20 years of experience in real estate sales, leasing, and development across Boston, MA; Newport, RI; and Maine. A former VP of Sotheby’s International Realty, she’s a proud alum of St. George’s School and Northeastern University. Her social affiliations include the Bar Harbor Club, Aquidneck Club (Newport, RI), the Algonquin Club (Back Bay, Boston), and The Causeway Club (Southwest Harbor, ME).
Jack
Proprietor
Jack brings a wealth of experience as a former financial officer, real estate developer, and private lender with projects spanning the U.S. A Dartmouth MBA graduate, he also studied at Phillips Academy, Colby, Harvard, and Miami Law. Jack’s affiliations include the Bar Harbor Club, Carnegie Abbey (Newport), Club Elan (Houston); Le Club International (Ft. Lauderdale), Yvonne’s of Locke-Ober’s (Boston), Portland Club (Maine), the Tarratine Club (Bangor), the Union Boat Club (Boston), and the Dartmouth Club (Boston).
The owners are local and attentive to the property.
