Acadia offers forty-five miles of carriage roads that are routinely groomed by the local Acadia Winter Trails Association. These networks of wide roads are the perfect setting for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Set out for an invigorating day skiing or snowshoeing around Eagle Lake and Acadia's many loops, such as Witch Hole Loop, Aunt Betty Loop, Hadlock Loop, Amphitheater Loop, and Around Mountain Loop.
