My family and I normally rent when we go on vacation but your home was by far my favorite place … we cannot wait to go back! … I hope you will still be renting your home because there would be no other place we would want to be.

All of us from the baby to the grandparents enjoyed your picturesque home and grounds. We also delighted in your interesting e-mails . . . Four-year-old E was in tears on our last morning she did not want to leave. She loved feeding the animals: The chipmunks actually ate out of her hand. We liked all the animals: They were entertaining. We did many fun activities. We hiked, had fantastic popovers with strawberry jam at the Jordan Pond House, went on a sunset sail on the Margaret Todd, ate fabulous lobsters, had blueberry pancakes at Jordan's on Cottage Street, and played on Sand Beach. My younger son, T and I experienced sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. Surprisingly there were about sixty other nutty enthusiasts present. Thank you for sharing your gracious home and for taking such good care of us. We had a marvelous time.

What a spectacular week it has been. To have our dear friends together. In such a gorgeous home and setting. Made for a lifetime of memories. We appreciate your home. And even more so, your kindness in helping us plan for this time.

We have arrived at Hulls Cove and It is everything we had hoped for and so much more. It is enchantingly perfect! It is beautiful and so warm, cozy and inviting. Everything was just as it should be. It’s our second full day at Hulls Cove and already we have fallen in love with it. I know there are many lovely areas around here for us to see but I cannot believe that they are any more beautiful than your Hulls Cove. Your lovely home is now beginning to feel like our home and we are enjoying every aspect of it. Waking up here each morning here is a joy and a blessing. This has been an amazing holiday. Your home has provided such a cozy place for us return every day after our many adventures. All of our friends thought it was so inviting and loved every minute they were there. It was relaxing, peaceful and serene and afforded us many happy hours. It has been a pleasure to work with you and I am so appreciative that your family is willing to share your lovely home with us. We have been gone from Hulls Cove now for a full week and I have to admit that I miss it terribly.

It has been a great pleasure and honor to stay in your home these past two weeks. We had a wonderful time. I am so heartened to know that there are such incredible people in the world like you who care about animals, and take the time to be their caretaker and advocate. I am going to miss the squirrels, red and gray, the birds, the ducks, and most of all the deer. We would like to come back to visit in the summer and/or possibly in the spring. Thank you again. Very lovely home in great location right on the water, private yet close to town. We rented this home starting 23-May thru 30-May 2015. Lovely outdoor setting with lots of flowers and beautiful landscaping as well as beautiful, roomy interior. Our party had 6 people and we could have easily accommodated more. The home is a great place to relax as there are many wonderful books available to enjoy in library as well as all modern amenities one could desire. We will certainly consider coming back again in the future!

We rented this home for two weeks at the end of May beginning of June 2015. My only issue is our schedule would not allow us to stay a month. This amazing home is well kept, the owner was very attentive to our special request and needs both prior to and during our stay. The home was close to everything we wanted to enjoy in Bar Harbor but it's location and grounds made us feel like we were "away from it all". We traveled with our married adult children, we had 6 adults one 3 year old and 2 babies in our group. There was plenty of room for everyone. The adults and our 3 year old grand daughter loved watching and feeding the wildlife on the property. We enjoyed the days we spent relaxing at the home just as much as the days we got out and enjoyed the area. If we could spend a month here every year we would! I can sincerely say without hesitation we would rent this home again!

We spent a week in early September. Like another reviewer, we arrived at the time of a full moon, the “super” moon. Beautiful on the Bay! Everything was great. First time in Maine. Have spent many vacations in the Outer Banks. This home far exceeded any that we stayed at in North Carolina. The house was immaculate. Very well equipped with everything needed. The location is great – convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, etc, – but still very private. We especially enjoyed being able to relax in addition to seeing all the sights, eating out (and in). Mr. Dyer was very accommodating. He definitely wanted us to have a great vacation. Would recommend to anyone. I wish we could have stayed longer.
